The setting combines 18-karat yellow gold (750 thousandths) and platinum, a combination characteristic of the Belle Époque, a pivotal era when platinum became the standard in jewelry for its strength and ability to showcase diamonds without chromatic interference. The two lateral scrolls, crafted in platinum and paved with old 8x8-cut diamonds, frame the central composition with remarkable architectural lightness.
