Alongside his career as a designer, Gerald Genta created his own brand (in 1982) and within this brand, Disney models had and still have today a very special place among fans and collectors around the world.
Having been the first to put the friendly faces of favorite Disney friends on his watches in the 1980s, as the creator of his own brand and after acquiring the rights, Gérald Genta has largely associated his creative DNA with Mickey Mouse and other Disney cartoon characters, such as Donald Duck, Mickey, Minnie etc… Often dressed in various costumes or practicing a sporting activity, the characters represented by Genta fit perfectly with the function of the watch.
These watches often feature retrograde hands designed to function like the character's Arms.
