The diamond pavé setting totals 0.70 carats, as indicated in the booklet serving as a certificate of authenticity. At the client's request, Chanel made a slight alteration to these earrings. The teardrop-shaped pearl can be detached, allowing for better adjustment to suit different outfits.
The certificate of authenticity accompanying the jewelry indicates that it was purchased at the Place Vendôme boutique in 2007, reference JO999, number 8M185. The jewelry is accompanied by a booklet and a Chanel-signed leather pouch.
